The Parish is celebrating the centenary of
the Church during 2006. All families in the
Church are actively participating the
various functions and activities in
connection with the Centenary
Projects taken up
during Centenary
Construction of a new parsonage in
place of the old and damaged one
Raising a Mission fund for sponsoring
a missionary and family and taking up a
mission field with in the Diocese.
Conducting Medical camps for free
checkup and dispensing of medicines.
Conducting informative study classes
on health and hygienic living by the
Doctors of the Church.
Introducing an endowment for the
education of poor children in memory of
the late Sri. Jacob Ninan,Chirayil
utilizing the fund contributed by his
wife Smt.Roshini Jacob and daughter
Sharon Elsa Jacob.
Publication of a book containing the
history of the church since its inception
and other topics of relevance written by
eminent spiritual writers.
To Honour all senior members of the
church above seventy years of age.
There has been a spiritual enlightenment
and awareness among the members of the
church. All members are thriving hard and
contributing wholeheartedly for the
successful completion of the envisaged
projects.
All the projects taken up are in full
swing.The structure of the proposed
parsonage building has been completed.
Contributions to the Mission fund are
being received regularly.A medical camp
for diagonising Diabetes and Blood
pressure checking was conducted for the
members of the Church on 24th September
2006 by the Doctors of the church with
the help of para medical staff of Good
Samaritan hospital, Pazhanganad. Blood
groups were also got ascertained in the
camp.Another major medical camp was
conducted at Manikandanchal near
pooyamkutty in the vicinity of CSI
Church, Manikandanchal on 21st
October2006. Nearly two hundred patients
attended the camp. A team of volunteers
including Doctors, Paramedical staff and
other members of the All Saints'CSI
Church perumbavoor participated in the
camp under the leadership of Oomman achan
and Kochamma.Patients were examined and
medicines dispensed free of cost.The
message of God's love and providence was
conveyed to the patients and theywere
impressed to know that the camp was
conducted in the service of the Lord
Jesus Christ.A health awareness class was
taken by Dr.K.J.Johnson,Church Warden and
a study class on First aid was conducted
by Dr.Subhash Das, a member of the church
,on 8th and 22nd October 2006
respectively after Sunday service in the
church.
